Little ballers

The Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association 6U Waves, led by coaches Anthony Squillante (at left) and Matt Worsham (right), secured the gold bracket championship title, showcasing their growth and unity throughout the season. Despite a prior loss to their championship opponents, these 6U girls exhibited resilience and teamwork, ending in a comeback. Coaches Worsham and Squillante, who are former high school teammates from Southlake, provided guidance and made the season fun for the girls, too. In the championship showdown, the Waves displayed determination, ultimately claiming gold. Players (pictured, from left) are Mary Catherine Gooding, Ophelia Wallman, Maeve Moore, Kelsey Squillante, Saylor Worsham, Mary Goff, Emmy Parrish, and Meika Austin.
