Sean and Rachel Boutros (pictured) and 400 other guests gathered at the Crystal Ballroom at The Rice for an evening benefiting Elijah Rising. Gala committee members Kati Auld, Denni Daniels, Annie Jared, Lacey Marek, Kerry Stovall, Tonya Tellepsen, and Karen VanBuren-Jared worked together to help raise $400,000 for Elijah Rising, an organization dedicated to ending sex trafficking in Houston. Funds raised will support programming and restorative care for survivors. Emcee Kent Matthews Clingerman introduced keynote speaker Joshua Broome, a former adult-film actor who is now a strong believer in the power of restoration and healing through faith. Micah Gamboa, Elijah Rising executive director, and Cindy Canevaro, vice president of public affairs, McNair Interests, also spoke to the crowd.
