Taylor Sadick, Jeff MagidsIt seemed like just another Saturday, said Bellaire High School graduate Taylor Sadick. Her cousin had planned a family outing at their uncle’s airplane hangar as a belated 4th of July get together. For the very first time, Taylor flew with her uncle in his prop plane for an exhilarating 20 minutes. Once they landed, Taylor noticed that the hangar door was closed. She tried to call boyfriend Jeff Magids, also a graduate of Bellaire High School, who had been waiting in the hangar, to no response. Then, the door slowly opened. She saw Jeff at a table with flowers and candles and heard the Bruno Mars’ song Marry You playing in the background. He proposed, to her complete surprise and joy, after two and a half years of dating and many more years of friendship. Both of their families, including parents Nancy and Jan Sadick, sister Sydney Sadick and fiancé Jared Nash, and Jeff’s parents Dianne and Marc Magids, sister Jennifer Rosenfeld, brother-in-law A.J. Rosenfeld and nephew Benjamin Rosenfeld, gathered to happily witness the big moment.
