Woof Wilder, age 31⁄2
Golden Retriever
Doliver Drive
My name is Woof, but I go by Woofie. They call me a mini Golden Retriever as I weigh only 20 pounds and have short legs. My grandma found me trying to get inside a doctor’s office in Corpus Christi. No one claimed me so my mom adopted me. She kind of embarrasses me at times as she is always kissing and hugging me, but I know she loves me. I am very lucky to have her.
I have been going to Tanglewood Park long before the Dog Park was there. I made many friends, and I met my girlfriend there. Her name is Katie, and she, too, was adopted. I am so lucky to have been rescued. My mom says I turned out to be a terrific dog so maybe this will encourage other people like you to rescue a dog in need. I am a proud graduate of PetSmart’s obedience-training course. Maybe that’s why I’m so calm and friendly these days.
